This is the Z-Hab and it currently lives at Ridgeland High School.  The most common place to find such a piece of equipment would be graduate level research facilities, you know like Harvard.  The Z-Hab equipment is being funded through Ridgeland’s School Improvement Grant which had a strong focus on math, science, and technology instruction. This provides endless opportunities for research at RHS.  The equipment will be the home to a few hundred Zebra fish which are used in medical research.  Teachers from math, science, engineering, ELA, and agriculture classes will be working together on the project.
